Tried to use to install my awning on 4x4 Nimbus roof tent but the provided hardware was insufficient to mount the brackets, seems I'll need to pick up some type of spacers and MacGyver it to work. Also from the pictures on the product page it seems to be installed upside down, since the angled side seems like it should fit against the bottom side of the roof tent, but is shown installed where the angled piece is in the way of tent closing and sealing. Everything else I've gotten from 4x4 Colorado has been awesome, and the customer service is amazing as well, and always go out of their way to sort out any issues so still putting 5 Stars here. Just a little confused with these brackets design, but maybe I'm dumb and installing incorrectly.

Bought these mounts for clean mounting solution of awning and shower tent. It’s solid, almost invisible and fits well. Highly recommend!
One of the main reasons I purchased the Nimbus was to mount accessories to it. The T Channel mounts fit perfectly for my awning and sit flush with the tent. It was easy to install and tighten down in case I needed to do some maintenance.
I really appreciate when a manufacturer brings to life their ideas for modifying and making their product even more usable.
These are very strong. The engineering and angles on them are trustworthy.
Mine came with a sharp unbeveled edge where the pieces were cutout. The cut sides were not powdercoated completely. Rather minor issue. I can easily file that side and spray some paint. Make me feel like I actually added something to it lol.
I'll likely buy more to use on other parts of my rig like the roof rack, steel bumpers and molle panels.
